The clinic will be open as of June 22, 2020. Please follow the below protocols in regards to your appointment:
Screening: Clients are required to fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire available below or outside of our office door. Clients will also be verbally screened before entering the clinic. Again, we ask if you are feeling unwell to reschedule your appointment. See our pre screening document below. Should you choose to fill it out in advance, please do not do so until one hour prior to your appointment.
Sanitization: Before you enter we ask you to SANITIZE your hands at the station outside of our door. Please do not wear protective gloves into our office.
Masks: Masks are mandatory to wear entering the building, during your entire massage and exiting the building. If you wear a reusable (cloth) mask, please be sure it is freshly washed. If you are wearing a disposable mask ,please be sure it is clean, and has not yet been worn. Masks are available for purchase for $1.00. Your RMT will be wearing a medical grade disposable mask that will be replaced after each treatment.
Minimal Touch: Please arrive alone and with minimal personal items. Please try to limit the surfaces you touch once inside our office. We kindly ask you to use your washroom at home prior to your massage in an effort of avoiding ours.
Staggered Appointments: We are allocating 30 minutes between each appointment allowing the therapist to sanitize all equipment and treatment table. All treatment tables and equipment is disinfected with medical grade products. Some appointments previously booked maybe altered to accommodate new guidelines set out, we apologize for any inconvenience.
Payment: Please pay your RMT directly preferably with an E-transfer. If an e-transfer is not an option, please have a cheque ready made out to your therapist directly. See your RMTs email address here.
Fee Increase: As a result of the costs associated with safely working during this pandemic, we have had to make a small increase in our massage prices. This reflects added expenses for PPE for ourselves and our client, increased time between appointments for full sanitization of all surfaces, and the associated supplies. We appreciate your understanding in these unprecedented times. See our fee schedule here.
Reception: We are now operating back at full reception hours. If we encounter a second wave in the fall, we may be forced to reduce our hours. Should you get our answering machine, please leave us detailed messages including your phone number.
